"Rumours" by Neil Simon Four couples are invited to celebrate the anniversary of their friends, the deputy Mayor and his wife. The first couple to arrive find the host has shot himself in the head (it's only a flesh wound) and his wife is missing. The couple try to cover up the attempted shooting as each couple arrives but it is progressively more difficult to sustain as the other guests arrive and nobody can remember who has been told what about whom. Doors slam and hilarity abounds as the couples get more and more crazed. Presented by Georgetown Little Theatre Tickets: $15-18. (905) 877-3700 |
