OUR STORY — It is hard to believe but CAShh is now celebrating its fifth year of service to cancer patients in Halton Hills.

There is apparently confusion with some individuals thinking we are part of – or associated with – the Canadian Cancer Society. We are not!

Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills is different. Our first priority is to provide much needed practical assistance to patients and their families in Halton Hills. We saw a real need for help once the Canadian Cancer Society decided to close their office in Georgetown against the wishes of the community. The results of our decision to carry on is obvious. We do not turn down a request for help from any cancer patient in Halton Hills. This is proof that we are able to provide local service second to none in our community.

Our more than 35 volunteer drivers provide transportation to treatment centres and this year will exceed 250,000 Km’s. More than 400 patients have been assisted so far through our programs.
