CONCERNED ABOUT
WEST NILE VIRUS? |
|
With a few simple
steps we can control the mosquito population and the West Nile Virus on our property.
Eliminate breeding grounds; turn over your
compost pile on a regular basis; store empty flower pots upside down; the
birdbath water should be refreshed weekly; try and keep gutters clear of
standing water.
Encourage natural predators, such as birds,
frogs, and dragonflies to frequent your yard.
Wear light coloured, long sleeved clothing
that is loose fitting. And this would be a good time to check your window
screens.
