September 30, 2004 marks the start of THE EVENT in Halton. The Oktoberfest Country Classic is a Class 1 National Competition held at Halton Place, featuring a $20,000 Grand Prix.

This is a family event with entertainment for children, teens, and mom and dad. A $20.00 charge will gain entrance for the whole family and parking for the four day event.

Halton Place is a beautiful country estate where horse enthusiasts of all ages can experience and enjoy equines and equestrian sport. Located on the south side of the 15th Sideroad between Stewartown and Speyside, this stunning property is the perfect venue for this event.

Not only will there be horse jumping competitions, a children’s village and demonstrations, but with the name Oktoberfest it is only natural to have authentic Oktoberfest music and a German beer garden.

On October 2nd, as part of the Oktoberfest Country Classic, the Cancer Assistance Service Gala will take place – a semi-formal evening featuring a swing band, live and silent auctions, sumptuous dinner and a white horse drawn carriage to transport guests to their vehicles. The event runs from September 30th to October 3rd. All are welcome.
